This watch band is the exact same band as the original one from the factory. Looking at the watch after my original band broke, I figured there was no way to change it without sending it back to the factory. I found this band available on Amazon and figure there must be some way to do it at home. Once I got the new band and looked at it (Technomarine provides no instructions for installation with the band), I decided to take it to my local jeweler (who makes custom jewelery so I knew he was competent). It took 2 jewelers in the shop (and a lot of swearing I'm told) to install this new band on my watch. Next time it breaks, I'm just going to bite the bullet and pay the big bucks to send it back to Technomarine for repair.
I love this watch and I'm so happy to have the new band on it so I can wear it again!
